Stuart Fords company has launched IM Global Music in partnership with music industry executive and former Miramax colleague David Schulhof.The latter will serve as president and as a partner of the New York and Los Angeles headquartered new business.Schulhof pictured at left with Ford will oversee the creative and business direction of IM Global Musi stanley usa c and administration and collection of the music publishing catalogue as well as marketing the catalogue for ancillary revenue opportunities in film, t stanley uk elevision, advertising and gaming.The new division will also acquire songwriter catalogues, production libraries and other music-related assets; partner with major record companies to release soundtrack albums; work with established recording artists and songwriters to write and record original film and television songs and scores; and develop music-driven film and television projects.Prior to launching IM Global Music, Schulhof was managing director at private equity firm G2 Investment Group, overseeing the firms media investments such as the $200m capitalisation of Round Hill Music Group.He co-founded and served as CEO of music publisher Evergreen Copyrights, building a stable of songs from Michael Jackson, Eric Clap stanley cup ton, Snoop Dogg and others.He also served as vp of motion picture music at Miramax and Dimension films.
