Gwendolyn Garcia has extended the ban on live poultry and wild birds from Luzon and Mindanao to avoid the entry of bird flu into the province.Cebu remains free of the Avian Influenza virus, and the recent AI outbreaks from provinces in Luzon and Mindanao continue to pose a threat to the P12-billion poultry industry of Cebu, Garcia wrote in Executive Order EO 14 dated May 23.
