Teresa Leger Fernandez D-NM gathered Tuesday morning in City Council Chambers in Espa帽ola for an announcement of an appropriation to boost internet strength for Northern New Mexico. The appropriation is part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.Rep. Leger Fernandez received a total of 74 project proposals, although each congressional office was only allowed to include 10 proposals in the initial review for inclusion in the Bill.聽 Out of the proposals submitted, nine of the 10 were funded. Funding for the Espa帽ola area was more than $879,000.
