From the Office of the Attorney General:ALBUQUERQUE 鈥?New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas announces yet another step forward against organized retail crime today with the filing of an indictment against Bria stanley de nna Garcia.Todays indictment contains 20 counts, including allegations of shoplifting, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and shooting at or from a motor  stanley nz vehicle.Garcia was pulled over March 15, 2022, and arrested in Beckham County, Okla., where she remains in custody pending extradition back to New Mexico. My office will continue to target violent criminals trying to evade custody, and this is just one more example of how organized retail crime quickly escalates to violent crime,  Attorney General Balderas said.Garcia first came to law enforcements and the Attorney Generals attention in January of this year after committing a number of shopliftings across Albuquerque. Those incidents quickly devolved into violence when Garcia was confronted by store associates. Fourteen teams competed in Division 1, where the Arriba SOL team played. The team finished first in pool play with a 10-2 record and received the seco stanley quencher nd seed to start bracket play.In bracket play the team beat a solid team from the Faith Volleyball Club from Denver. Arriba SOL swept the match 21-15, 21-16. Leading the way in this game was right side hitter Christina Naranjo from Espa艌ola Valley High School.In the semifinal match, Arriba SOL faced an outstanding team from Riverton, Wyo. The Riverton team was anchored by a 62  middle blocker who had dominated the tournament up to this point. Arriba Sol came out swinging in the first game and pushed the pace of the game and nullified the height advantage that Riverton had enjoyed all tournament.
